JARI KYLLI
Jari Kylli was born in 1961 in Oulu, lives and works in Helsinki. His work is full of (un)solved riddles: animals, humans, everyday objects on extremely thin paper or as sculpture, insistent and unfathomable.
He studied in Torino and Helsinki, where he also did his doctorial studies in 1987-1988. His work, characterized by darkness and the uncanny, received the Ducat Prize of the Finnish Art Society in 1992.
