FELIX DROESE
Felix Droese (*1950) studied with Peter Brüning and Joseph Beuys at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf.
His art strongly reflects his present politicization in his many-faceted works on paper, woodcuts and installations by often addressing political issues such as absurdities of the financial economy and mediating corresponding messages. For this reason, he is also known as an agitational artist. Droese’s artistic-political efforts have achieved such an international influence that he is represented in the Museum of Modern Art in New York today.
